City Center Park is one of Greenwood's strongest family splash spots, combining the county's first splash pad with accessible playgrounds, walking trails, and a basketball court in a downtown park setting. The city notes the splash pad runs during summer months from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., making it especially convenient for morning play or after-dinner cooldowns. Families with kids of different abilities may appreciate the accessible playground features nearby, including expression swings. This is a practical, free option for a fuller park outing rather than a quick pass-through only.
