Friendship Park Splash Pad is one of Avondale's best-known splash pad stops for families who want more than a quick cool-down. The larger park includes multiple playgrounds, sports fields, walking trails, picnic shelters, a dog park, and a community fishing pond, so it is easy to turn water play into a half-day outing. The setting is especially useful for families with siblings across age groups because the park spreads out well. Expect open-access supervision rather than a contained spray-park layout.
